This pesto can be used on sandwiches, chicken, or in pasta as a smart way to make healthy food even healthier.
- 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese (blend first)
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 1/3 cup of hulled hemp seeds (also known as hemp hearts)
- 1 cup of basil 1/2 of olive oil (as needed)
Place all of your ingredients in a blender or food processor. You’re finished once everything is smooth! You might need to scrape the sides halfway through blending in order to make sure all of your ingredients get incorporated.
